Since our announcement of HomeLight’s acquisition of Disclosures.io, we’ve received many congratulations and well wishes and, of course, some great questions about what the acquisition will mean for your business moving forward. We are happy to be able to answer those questions below.

HomeLight started in 2012 as a company that provides high-quality referrals to real estate agents. However, we’ve now grown into so much more. Over the past two years, we’ve invested in several businesses that help our agent partners deliver a game-changing experience to their clients. These include our Cash Offer and Trade-In products, our Home Loans business, and our Closing Services business. In each case, we handle highly sensitive client data provided to us by agents, and in each case, we keep that agent’s data strictly confidential and secure. 

Our new Listings Management group formed by the Disclosures.io acquisition is no different. Our success depends on your trust in us, and we take that very seriously. 

Disclosures.io’s goal has always been to provide powerful listing management and marketing tools to agents to improve the transaction experience. We’re excited to be a fundamental part of HomeLight’s evolution: providing a seamless listing management experience for agents and their clients. This partnership will allow us to accelerate our product roadmap, deliver more of the features you love, and bring our technology to agents nationwide. The Disclosures.io that you know and love is not going away, and it will continue to be improved.

  • Your data is safe. At Disclosures.io, our privacy policy and terms of service has always safeguarded your data. After the HomeLight transaction, we’ve added terms that explicitly protect your relationships with your clients. Please read that new language in our Terms of Service.

Who better to present your listing to potential buyers than you? That’s the idea behind the newest feature in Disclosures.io. Now, you can use the Disclosures.io mobile app (download here for iPhone and iPad) to shoot short clips of each room in your listing.

Our initial testers and video tour creators were active real estate agents, just like you. Their feedback helped us build the video tour feature to where it is today. So far the testers have been singing praises about how simple and effective it is to use.

Video Tours by Disclosures.io makes it easy to create media that helps buyers get a feel for a home before they see it. Now that personal home showings are replacing open houses, and PEAD forms are replacing the usual “stop on by’s”, video tours are almost a requirement of the modern real estate sale.

How Video Tours by Disclosures.io works

1) You’ll need an iPhone. It’s currently an iOS app only feature.

2) You’ll need to download our app. If you haven't already you can download the app here.

3) Simply log in to your account and create a package for your listing.

In the mobile app, you’ll create a video tour in small snippets. One video for each room/home-feature that you would like to showcase. After the video’s are created, the app will string each clip together to create a comprehensive tour of your listing, which is viewable on your property package in Disclosures.io.

You can tell the story of your listing, point out the views from the dining room, the tile in the remodeled bathroom, and all of the other reasons that someone would love living in the home. Video Tours by Disclosures.io is cheaper than hiring an expensive videographer and so easy that anyone can make a beautiful tour, no editing necessary.
