Real Estate Agents can now scan documents from anywhere with the newest feature from Disclosures.io.
Ask any on-the-go agent, the smartphone is the life-blood of their business.
Ask that same agent about their affinity for printing and scanning documents in the office... There is a joke in there somewhere.
On any given day, real estate agents use their smartphone as a phone, CRM, scanner, printer, computer, notary, map, camera, baby sitter, assistant — so much more.
DocuSign and other e-signature apps changed the industry. But, either because of client preference or legal limitations, sometimes a signature needs to be wet (to sign documents using wet ink).
Driving through afternoon traffic to get a signed document into the scanner at your office is a time consuming and less than gratifying experience. Even after the scanning, filing, and uploading the signed document into the right place becomes a whole other ordeal.
Now with the mobile app from Disclosures.io, you can scan documents into your Property Package with a single click. Reduce driving time and start marketing your listing, instantly.

A personal note from this writer: I’ve tested out a few promising options for document scanning on my iPhone, the scanning feature in the Disclosures.io iOS app is kind of incredible. It’s fast, super smooth, and makes scanning incredibly easy. It is so much more than merely snapping a picture.
Our step-by-step guide will show you how. If you have yet to download the Disclosures.io mobile app, head over to the Apple App Store now — (download for iPhone or iPad).
Guide to Mobile Document Scanning
Scan and upload documents using the most powerful app in real estate, Disclosures.io.
Step One: Open the Disclosures.io Mobile App
Using your iPhone or iPad, open the Disclosures.io Mobile App and navigate to the listing for which you want to scan and upload documents. If you haven’t created a property package for your listing, see this how-to-guide. Once you’ve selected the property package for your listing, navigate to the Documents tab.
Step Two: Add Documents
Select the Add Documents button, which will display the Add Documents modal. Select the option to Scan Documents, then tap the blue camera button, which will activate the camera on your iPhone or iPad. Point your camera at the first page of the document that you want to scan. The app will automatically detect the edges of the document. You can adjust the edges of the document by moving the circles on each corner of the page. Once you are satisfied with the selected area, click Add Page (in the top right corner). If your document has multiple pages, click the blue camera button to add additional pages. Repeat these steps until you’ve added all of the pages for your document.
Step Three: Give it a Name
Once you’ve scanned all of the pages in your document, you can name the document. After you’ve named the document, select the Upload Scan button and then click Add Documents to add them to the Property Package. Scanning and adding documents through the Mobile App will automatically update the table of contents in your property package.
In just three easy steps you can scan any paper document into your disclosure package from anywhere.
