For the Disclosures.io founding team, the inspiration was deeply personal. Adam Gothelf, Disclosure.io Co-Founder and CEO, is the son of a real estate agent and was a Realtor® himself for over seven years. His Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Brian Sloss, is also the son of a real estate agent. The Third Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Paul Nichols joined as the technical founder and is responsible for building Disclosures.io from day zero to the robust set of tools that you now enjoy. As a home buyer, Paul brought a wealth of knowledge from the client experience side. The three, watching the inner workings of the real estate industry unfold through their parents' experiences – and eventually, their own, built Disclosures.io.
While there has been plenty of innovation throughout the past decade to make finding a dream home easier, little has solved the inherent challenges in the home buying and selling process. HomeLight and Disclosures.io have a shared vision for the future of real estate, which is to make transactions simple, certain, and satisfying while keeping agents at the center of the experience.
